Dr. Latimore serves as Associate Professor of History at Trinity University, Chair of the History Department, and co-Director of Trinity’s African American Studies program. His honors and awards include election to the Educator’s Hall of Fame at the Phi Delta Kappa, Gamma Tau Chapter. He also serves as Associate Minister at Mt. Zion First Baptist Church. Dr. Latimore is passionate about the importance of young men and of education, as well as about preventing unplanned pregnancy.
